SUPPORT GROUPS

Outpatient Medication Management and Family Support Groups
Riveredge Hospital’s Medication Management Groups were born out of recognizing a gap in services – people were coming to the hospital, but didn’t meet certain criteria for our programs.  These people still needed medication management and didn’t know where else to turn. We reached out to our community mental health centers to see how we could help them address this need when they have a high volume of community members at their centers.

Our Medication Management and Family Support Group (or simply “Group” as we like to call it) is led by bilingual professionals to make all participants feel at home in a low pressure, group setting. Group is co-facilitated by Dr. Safdar and 1 of 3 therapists.

Regular scheduling is as follows – At the top of our website, you can check in real-time, whether Group is ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’.*
